Camp Information

Attending camps is a great way to improve your skills and endurance prior to the season.  Attendence to any of these camps are NOT required by AYF&C.  As we are made aware of 2012 Camps and their dates, we will try and post them here.  Please note that The listing of a football and Cheerleading camp on this page does not constitute an endorsement by AYF&C.  They are listed and given only as options.  Please let us know if you know of other good camps that should be added to this list!


4th Annual Aloha Warrior Youth Football Camp  Coach Chris Casey the head football coach at Aloha High School with cooperation from Aloha Youth Football would like to invite all youth football players in grades 3 thru 8 as of September 2011 to participate in our fourth annual Aloha Warrior Youth Football Camp.  Coach Casey and his high school staff will be presenting the fundamentals of football the ALOHA WAY!  This is a no pad camp...shorts, tee shirts and cleats only!  Basic introduction to football with an emphasis on the fundamentals:  Blocking, Tackling, Pursuit, Speed Drills, Passing and Receiving, Ball Handling Drills, Fun Team and Game Activities, TAPE: Togetherness, Attitude, Perseverance, Effort.  Camp Dates are July 25th, 26th, and 27th from 3PM to 5PM at Aloha High School Football Field.  The Cost is $30 per player.  A Free camp tee shirt with each paid registration!  For more information and to sign up, check out the camp form by clicking HERE!


Portland State University Football Camp  Portland State University Football Camp runs from June 27th through July 1st from 9am to 1pm.  It is a non padded camp where participants will learn basic football skills taught by the Viking Coaches.  For more information and pricing, check out the camp form by clicking HERE.


Anthony Newman's Free Football & Spirit Camps  The Anthony Q. Newman Foundation offers a FREE Football Camp and a FREE Cheerleading Spirit Camp every fall.  The camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 4-8 for Football and grades 2-8 for Spirit.


Anthony Newman's Sports Camps  Offers both beginner and advanced non-contact camps and clinics.


Alex Molden Wide Receivers - Defensive Backs Academy  Holds various events at Nike's Headquarters starting in May.  See website for more info.


Kick on 4th Down  Summer Specialist Camp for Kickers - Punters - Snappers.


Greg Barton Football Academy  Located at Lewis and Clark College - Various dates all Winter and Summer.


Offense - Defense Camp  O-D football has finalized its camp schedule for the 2011 summer season.  Southern Oregon University in Ashland will be the host site on June 26-29 for O-D's Oregon camp and Pacific Lutheran University again will be the host site on July 3-6 for O-D's Seattle camp.  O-D football still is offering its GROUP sign-ups for both camps.  Associations can sign up 25 kids, regardless of age, as a GROUP for camp using my name, WALSH, as a promo code.  Instead of paying $760 as an overnight camper plus another $100 for the Sunday clinic for a total of $860... cost PER sleepover camper is $549 and the clinic is FREE

PICO (Pacific Island Council of Oregon) - Youth Instructional Football Camp & BIG MAN Football Camp for Middle School  The Instructional Football camp normally in July and opened to boys aged 9-14.  The BIG MAN camp is also nortmall in July and opened to boys grades 5-9.  Both are located at Central Catholic High School.


CCHs Free YouthSpring Football Camp  Free camp held in May iand open to 6-8th graders.  The Spring Youth Football Camp is hosted and directed by Central Catholic Head Football Coach Steve Pyne, his coaching staff and former CCHS football Players.


Northwest Football Training  Our training sessions are offered to players in fourth grade through college.  We welcome you to attend our training sessions whether you are new to the game of football or a seasoned player.  We teach and emphasize the fundamentals associated with each position using various non-contact drills.  We work with a smaller number of participants to increase personalized coaching and maximize the number of repetitions you receive.


Dennis Dixon's Football Fundamental Camp  The Fundamentals camp is designed to help children grades 3-12 improve basic skills of all offensive, defensive and special teams positions.  This no pad, one day camp will be instructed by Dennis Dixon himself and former Oregon Duck football players such as Ryan DePalo, Brent Haberly, Garren Strong, Alex Molden, Jaison Williams and many more....
The camp will feature offensive and defensive teams with stations that will teach position specific skills: quarterback, wide receiver, running back, offensive line, defensive line, linebackers, and defensive backs.
