Camp InformationAttending camps is a great way to improve your skills and endurance prior to the season. Attendence to any of these camps are NOT required by AYF&C. As we are made aware of 2010 Camps and their dates, we will try and post them here. Please note that The listing of a football and Cheerleading camp on this page does not constitute an endorsement by AYF&C. They are listed and given only as options. Please let us know if you know of other good camps that should be added to this list! Aloha Warrior Youth Football Camp Chris Casey, the head football coach at Aloha High School would like to invite all youth football players in grades 3 thru 8 as of September 2010 to participate in the third annual Aloha Warrior Youth Football Camp. Coach Casey and his high school staff will be presenting the fundamentals of football the ALOHA WAY! Camp Dates are Mon - July 19th, Wed - July 21st, and Thur - July 22nd from 4pm to 6pm. The cost is $30 per camper and will be held at Aloha High School. Please see the flyer for more info! Anthony Newman's Free Football & Spirit Camps The Anthony Q. Newman Foundation offers a FREE Football Camp and a FREE Cheerleading Spirit Camp every fall. The camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 4-8 for Football and grades 2-8 for Spirit. Camp will be held July 10th from 10am - 4pm. Anthony Newman's Sports Camps Offers both beginner and advanced non-contact camps and clinics. 2010 Oregon State Football Camp Located on the Oregon State Beavers Campus - June 22th-25th, 2010. Oregon State assistant coaches and some of the top high school coaches in teh country will join Coach Riley to assist you in improving your football skills. Individual technique will be emphasized in each practice, followed by a team session similar to Beaver practices. Can be either Day camper or resident camper. Portland State - Nigel Burton Vikings 2010 Football Camps Portland State has extended the signup deadline for their 2-day sessions that are running on June 26-27 and June 30 - July 1st. Organizers have asked that TVYFL players write "TVYFL" on their camp registration form in front of their name. Alex Molden Wide Receivers - Defensive Backs Academy Holds various events at Nike's Headquarters starting in May. See website for more info. Kick on 4th Down 2010 Summer Specialist Camp for Kickers - Punters - Snappers will be held in Portland July 12th-13th and Sherwood High School. Greg Barton Football Academy Located at Lewis and Clark College - Various dates all Winter and Summer. Click HERE for more info. Offense - Defense Camp Will be offering their Portland, OR camp this year from July 4th - July 7th. PICO (Pacific Island Council of Oregon) - Youth Instructional Football Camp & BIG MAN Football Camp for Middle School The Instructional Football camp is July 12-15 opened to boys aged 9-14. The BIG MAN camp is July 5-7 opened to boys grades 5-9. Both are located at Central Catholic High School. CCHs Free YouthSpring Football Camp Free camp held on May 8th and open to 6-8th graders. The Spring Youth Football Camp is hosted and directed by Central Catholic Head Football Coach Steve Pyne, his coaching staff and former CCHS football Players. Northwest Football Training Our training sessions are offered to players in fourth grade through college. We welcome you to attend our training sessions whether you are new to the game of football or a seasoned player. We teach and emphasize the fundamentals associated with each position using various non-contact drills. We work with a smaller number of participants to increase personalized coaching and maximize the number of repetitions you receive. Dennis Dixon's Football Fundamental Camp The Fundamentals camp is designed to help children grades 3-12 improve basic skills of all offensive, defensive and special teams positions. This no pad, one day camp will be instructed by Dennis Dixon himself and former Oregon Duck football players such as Ryan DePalo, Brent Haberly, Garren Strong, Alex Molden, Jaison Williams and many more.... |
