AYF&C Concessions Information

AYF&C operates the conessions stand at Aloha HS field every game day.  The concession stand is open every Saturday starting at the first game until after half-time of the final game of the night, usually around 9pm or so.  This takes the dedication of MANY volunteers.

One of the biggest issues we have year in and year out is getting parents to volunteer their designated time, working in the concession stand.  We constantly have folks forgetting to show up and then there are those that just for no better use of the word choose not to participate.  We then have to count on the same few individuals to work each and every year.  The concession stand is one of our biggest money makers and the profits each year have allowed us to continue to buy equipment and uniforms for the kids without raising fees.  For 2012, the board has decided that with the increase $30 Registration fee amount we are going to solicit other youth programs in the Aloha community and offer them the opportunity to work in the concession standard.  Each week we will bring in a different group, and they will work the concession stand for the entire day, under the guidance of our Concession Manager.  This will not only eliminate the need of us having concession volunteers, but it will allow us to help other Aloha kids and community programs by us making a donation to their programs.  It's a win-win for everyone.

We understand that money is tight and as always we will help those families in our program first.  So if you want to participate and you are willing to work in the concession stand, we will give you an additional $30 credit off of your registration fees.  You will be able to sign up during registration if this is something you would like to do.

If you would like to make a donation of either Food or Equipment to the Concessions Stand, please contact the Concessions Manager.  We always look forward to hearing from our families, if you or someone you know would like to donate Buns, Hot Dogs, Burgers, condiments, or any other food item, or equipment to the Concession Stand.  All the profits from the concession stand go back into the program for our kids!
